LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Mayor’s Cup International Showcase returns for its 18th year this February, bringing 995 youth soccer teams to Southern Nevada in one of the largest international tournaments of its kind.
The 2026 event will feature 683 boys teams competing Feb. 14–16 and 312 girls teams competing Feb. 20–22. Admission for spectators is free.
Co-hosted by the city of Las Vegas and the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club, the tournament is expected to draw thousands of players, families and fans from across the United States and abroad.
International and National Reach
Tournament organizers expect 67 international teams from Brazil, Canada, Costa Rica, Ecuador, England, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Russia, South Africa and Sweden. Teams from 29 U.S. states will also compete.
Mayor Shelley Berkley said the event has been split over two weekends to accommodate demand.
“Players are anxious to be seen by recruiters while enjoying our wonderful weather, making new friends and experiencing great soccer competition,” Berkley said. “I am proud that Las Vegas hosts such a wonderful annual event.”
$45 Million Economic Impact
Roger Tabor, president of the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club, estimates the tournament will generate more than $45 million in local economic activity, including hotel stays, transportation rentals, tournament fees and dining.
With 200-plus college coaches and scouts expected to attend, the showcase also serves as a major recruiting platform for high school-age players.
Teams are guaranteed four games, with individual medals awarded to first- and second-place finishers in each division. The Mayor’s Cup trophy will be presented to all first-place teams.
