LAS VEGAS (LVN) — A man was killed after being stabbed inside an apartment early Sunday morning in the south Las Vegas Valley, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Police said officers were dispatched at about 3:15 a.m. on Dec. 21 to the 300 block of East Silverado Ranch Boulevard after receiving reports of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found an adult male inside an apartment suffering from apparent stab wounds.

Medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said.

LVMPD homicide detectives responded to the scene and are leading the investigation, which remains ongoing. No suspect information has been released, and police have not indicated whether anyone has been detained in connection with the killing.

The victim’s identity, along with the official cause and manner of death, will be determined and released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
