Las Vegas News witnessed people being evacuated from the building at 400 S. 4th St., with video showing occupants leaving the building and walking across Bridger Avenue and 4th Street. Photos obtained by Las Vegas News also showed police patrol vehicles parked near the building and blocking part of 4th Street during the response.

Public reporting placed the center of the police investigation at a parking garage on 3rd Street between Clark and Lewis avenues, directly across from the Regional Justice Center. KTNV reported that a spokesperson for the City of Las Vegas confirmed the garage was shut down during the investigation.

FOX5 reported that a woman was arrested after allegedly making a bomb threat. As of Monday afternoon, police had not publicly released the suspect’s identity, possible charges or additional details about the item that prompted the response.
