November has a way of making Fort Worth feel like itself again.
Evenings cool off, the holiday madness is still a few weeks away, and you have time to claim a patio table or slip into a club for a set that turns a regular weeknight into something worth remembering. Around here, music never takes a break.

Welcome to The Soundcheck, a biweekly music column keeping you in the loop on what’s happening across the Tarrant music scene.
This month brings a little of everything, from homegrown songwriters and indie-rock lifers to country storytellers and a couple of Texas names who need no introduction. Whether you’re chasing a new favorite or making time for an old one, these handful of events are worth adding to your calendar.
