LAS VEGAS — A 60-year-old man was arrested after a fatal shooting and arson on Gabriel Drive, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. Officers responded around 9:18 p.m. Friday to reports of gunfire and a house fire in the 1700 block of Gabriel Drive.
When officers arrived, they found the residence engulfed in flames and a woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds inside a recreational vehicle parked in the front yard. Despite attempts to render aid, she was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel.

Police located the suspect, identified as William Hall, armed in the yard of the burning residence and took him into custody without incident.
Ongoing Dispute Preceded Violence
Detectives with the LVMPD Homicide Section determined Hall had been living at the home and had experienced ongoing issues with the victim and others in the residence over the past several months.
Authorities said the dispute escalated into gunfire before the house was intentionally set ablaze.
Multiple Felony Charges Filed
Hall was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges including:
- Open murder with a deadly weapon
- Six counts of attempted murder with a deadly weapon
- First-degree arson
No additional injuries were reported.
The Clark County Fire Department extinguished the blaze. The identity of the victim, along with the official cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
