LAS VEGAS — Clark County recognized four employees this month for their exceptional dedication to public service, naming them the November 2025 Value Champions during a presentation led by County Manager Kevin Schiller and members of the Board of County Commissioners.

The honorees include:

• Arody Ahedo-Leana, Economic Development
• Jason Emeric, Real Property Management
• Jackie Razo, Animal Protection Services
• Dewey Ryu, Recorder’s Office

Each employee was selected for consistently exceeding expectations in their roles and for demonstrating the county’s core values of service, integrity, respect, accountability, excellence and leadership. Officials said the four represent the spirit of local government employees who contribute directly to the quality of life in Southern Nevada.

Ahedo-Leana was recognized for work supporting regional business initiatives and economic growth efforts. Emeric’s contributions in Real Property Management were highlighted for improving county facilities and addressing operational needs. Razo was honored for efforts within Animal Protection Services, where officials said her commitment has strengthened public safety and animal welfare. Ryu was cited for exemplary service in the Recorder’s Office, where accuracy and public access to records remain critical functions.

County leaders said programs like Value Champions help spotlight the important work carried out daily by public employees, many of whom work behind the scenes. Schiller praised the honorees for their professionalism and impact on residents.

“These employees not only fulfill their duties—they elevate the standard of public service,” Schiller said. “They make a real difference for colleagues, for county operations and for the community we serve.”

The Value Champions program recognizes employees from across county departments each month, with nominations reviewed to identify individuals who demonstrate outstanding initiative, leadership and commitment. Officials said the ongoing recognition is part of a broader effort to support employee excellence and maintain high service standards across the county.
