LAS VEGAS — The Eagles’ landmark residency at Sphere is nearing its conclusion as the venue announced the final four performances of EAGLES – Live in Concert at Sphere, closing out what has become one of the most commercially successful and technologically ambitious concert engagements on the Las Vegas Strip.
The show, which premiered on Sept. 20, 2024, has already logged 44 consecutive sold-out performances and drawn more than 700,000 fans, according to Sphere officials. When the residency concludes in 2026, it will have reached 56 total shows, making it the longest-running residency in Sphere’s history and one of the most attended musical engagements ever presented in the immersive venue.
Unlike traditional Las Vegas residencies, the Eagles’ production was designed specifically for Sphere’s one-of-a-kind architecture. The concert pairs the band’s five-decade catalog with Sphere’s massive 160,000-square-foot LED display and next-generation HOLOSPHERE audio system, which projects studio-quality sound to every seat in the venue. The result is a fully synchronized visual and sonic narrative that showcases the band’s most enduring hits — including “Hotel California,” “One of These Nights,” “Take It Easy,” and “New Kid in Town” — in an environment engineered to feel both intimate and cinematic.
The residency has been praised for its meticulous storytelling, with visuals that trace key moments in the band’s evolution and celebrate the cultural impact of the Eagles’ music. Industry analysts note that the show has broadened the band’s reach, drawing both longtime fans and younger audiences familiar with the group through film, television, and streaming platforms.
With demand for tickets remaining strong, Sphere has added the final four performances:
- March 20–21, 2026
- March 27–28, 2026
These dates mark the last opportunity for fans to see the Eagles in a venue that has reshaped the expectations of live concert production. The extension follows the group’s “Long Goodbye” tour, which signaled the Eagles’ move away from extensive touring in favor of select, high-production engagements.
Sphere representatives said the residency has contributed significantly to the venue’s growing reputation as a global destination for immersive live entertainment, following previous high-profile runs by U2 and Phish.
