LAS VEGAS — The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department Traffic Bureau on Friday launched its inaugural toy and canned food drive in honor of fallen Officer Colton Pulsipher, whose end of watch was Dec. 12, 2024, drawing officers, community partners, and residents together to remember a life devoted to public service.

The morning ceremony marked the official kickoff of the drive and served as a moment of reflection and gratitude for Officer Pulsipher’s service and sacrifice. Attendees gathered as LVMPD leaders presented a memorial plaque to Officer Pulsipher’s wife, Ashley, his children, and Traffic Bureau Capt. Dudley. The plaque will remain with the Traffic Bureau as a permanent tribute to Officer Pulsipher’s legacy within the department.

Representatives from the LVMPD Traffic Bureau, the Injured Police Officers Fund, and Stop DUI were present, underscoring the collaborative effort behind the event and the shared commitment to traffic safety, officer support, and community outreach.

Community members contributed new, unwrapped toys and canned food throughout the event. All donations will be provided to the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, ensuring that children and families across the Las Vegas Valley receive support during the holiday season.
