Japanese culture Las Vegas took center stage as Congresswoman Dina Titus joined Honorary Consul for Japan Kathleen Blakely and members of the Japanese-American community at the 16th Annual Aki Matsuri Festival, an event celebrating heritage, art, and friendship between Japan and Southern Nevada.
Clark County and Filipino community leaders unveiled the official “Filipino Town” marker near Boulevard Mall along Maryland Parkway. The designation recognizes the heritage, culture, and contributions of Filipino Americans across Las Vegas and Clark County, with plans to spotlight small businesses, events, and community partnerships in the corridor.
