LAS VEGAS — Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a homicide after officers discovered a deceased man with apparent blunt force injuries inside an apartment Tuesday morning.

According to police, LVMPD Communications received a report at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Feb. 10, 2026, of an unresponsive male inside a residence in the 900 block of Brush Street.

Officers responded and located the man suffering from what were described as apparent blunt force injuries. Medical personnel were summoned to the scene, and the victim was pronounced deceased at the apartment.

The LVMPD Homicide Section responded and has taken over the investigation. Authorities said the case remains active and ongoing.

The identity of the decedent, along with the official cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
