LOS ANGELES (LVN) — Actress Vanessa Hudgens and her husband, professional baseball player Cole Tucker, have welcomed their second child, the couple confirmed this week.
Hudgens, 36, was photographed leaving a Los Angeles hospital on Wednesday, where she was seen holding her newborn as Tucker accompanied her. The child’s birth coincided with Tucker’s 28th birthday, marking a milestone day for the couple.
The actress has not yet released the baby’s name or exact birth date, and representatives for Hudgens did not immediately respond to requests for comment. However, the star later shared an Instagram update indicating the infant arrived safely and criticizing paparazzi for surrounding the hospital during the family’s discharge.
“Mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy,” Hudgens wrote, adding that the presence of photographers during what she described as a private, vulnerable moment was “disrespectful.”
The couple, who married in December 2023 in Tulum, Mexico, are also parents to a son born in early 2024. Hudgens first rose to prominence in Disney’s High School Musical franchise before shifting to film, television, and stage roles. Tucker, a former first-round MLB draft pick, has played shortstop and outfield for several organizations.
