LAS VEGAS — A new docu-series spotlighting resilience, technology, and the future of country music is set to debut this spring in Southern Nevada.
Strike a Chord, a 12-episode television series hosted by country artist Ava Bently, will premiere March 7, 2026, on KPVM Nevada Channel 25.1, with weekly episodes airing across Southern Nevada and streaming via YouTube and nationwide on Roku.
Produced by Mental Margarita XYZ Productions, the series chronicles Bently’s extraordinary comeback after suffering severe vocal cord damage that temporarily ended her singing career. A single mother and aspiring artist, Bently now returns to music by embracing advanced artificial intelligence to re-enter the industry and redefine what’s possible in modern country music.
“Strike a Chord is more than a television series—it’s a story of reinvention,” said Jersey Doll, executive producer of the show. “Ava’s journey reflects resilience, innovation, and the power of believing in what’s still possible.”
Hosted by Bently, the series blends emotional storytelling with behind-the-scenes access, following her personal life, family moments, and studio sessions as she records her upcoming album, Timeless. Episodes also feature one-on-one Zoom interviews with leaders across the music, film, and technology industries, offering viewers insight into the evolving role of artificial intelligence in entertainment.
Select episodes include segments from Bently’s podcast, Put a Mic in It, which features candid conversations about creativity, culture, motherhood, and the future of music—adding a conversational layer to the show’s narrative.
“Ava Bently represents the next chapter of country music, where authenticity meets innovation,” said Studio 25 Media. “Her willingness to embrace new technology makes Strike a Chord a strong fit for today’s audiences.”
With its message of perseverance and possibility, Strike a Chord aims to inspire viewers across Nevada and beyond—whether they tune in for the music, the technology, or the human story at its core.
